Terms of Service

These Terms of Service apply to your use of this website and to all services provided by Your Digital Marketing Keys ("we", "us", "our"). Each project also has a written contract. If the contract and these terms differ, the contract applies.

1. Our services

We provide website design and development, ecommerce stores, CRM setup and automation, social media management, branding, photo and video content, SEO and advertising management. The exact scope, deliverables and timeline of each project are set out in your quote and contract.

2. Quotes and fixed pricing

After the discovery call, we send a written quote. Once the contract is signed, the project price is fixed and does not change unless you ask for work outside the agreed scope. Any additional work is quoted separately and starts only after your written approval. Prices are in Canadian dollars and do not include HST unless stated.

3. Payments and payment plans

• Work starts after the deposit (20–30% of the project price, as stated in your contract) is paid.
• On a payment plan, the balance is paid in equal monthly payments over 6–10 months at 0% interest.
• Paying the full project price upfront gives a 10% discount.
• If a payment is more than 14 days late, we may pause work or support until the account is up to date.
• Monthly plans are billed at the start of each month.

4. Timelines and our deadline guarantee

Your contract includes the launch date. If we miss it for reasons within our control, you receive a 5% discount on the project price for every full week of delay. Delays caused by late content, feedback or approvals from your side extend the timeline by the same amount of time.

5. Your responsibilities

You agree to provide the content, images, logins and feedback we need on time, and confirm that you have the right to use any materials you give us. You're responsible for the accuracy of your business information on the website.

6. Revisions and approvals

You approve the prototype and design before development begins. The number of revision rounds is listed in your contract. Changes requested after approval may be quoted as additional work.

7. Ownership

Your domain, hosting and accounts are registered in your name. Full ownership of the website, design files and code transfers to you on launch day, or after the final payment if you're on a payment plan. Your website stays live the whole time. We may show the finished project in our portfolio unless you ask us not to.

8. Third-party services and costs

Some tools are provided by other companies, such as domain registrars, hosting, Shopify, payment processors, CRM platforms and advertising networks. Their fees and terms are separate from ours. Advertising budgets are paid by you directly and are not included in our management fees.

9. Monthly plans and cancellation

Care, social media and marketing plans renew monthly. You can cancel any plan with 30 days' written notice. The 15% website discount for a 6-month social media plan requires the plan to stay active for the full 6 months.

10. Results and liability

We work hard to grow your business online, but we can't guarantee specific rankings, sales or follower numbers, because they depend on factors outside our control. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in question.

11. Ending a project

Either side may end a project with written notice. You pay for work completed up to that date, and we hand over everything that has been paid for.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there.
